Most animal shelters get their funds from donations. This means that they can be working on a very low budget. These shelters rely on volunteers to help with day-to-day activities.

There are many opportunities for you to volunteer your time. Whether you want to become a foster home for homeless animals or help type some letters, these shelters can use your help.
